Well, the day has come. After much planning, many sleepless nights, lots of research, tons of cleaning (home exchanging adds a new dimension to traveling) and lots of packing we are heading off on our "make hay while you can" trip.
Our heartfelt thanks go out to our family, friends, bosses/co-workers and teachers for all your support - without you, we couldn't have gotten this trip off the ground.
The reasons for this trip are simple - see lots of stuff, do lots of stuff, learn lots of stuff (about where we are and about each other), have fun and mostly, enjoy and cherish our precious time together.
First stop is Sydney for a few days and then off to Perth.
So, check in here often because we plan to post on here a lot. Adam and Sylvie will be doing most of the work here but there will be guest blogging by Maureen. Maybe we can even get David to type a period or two as well!
